Christopher Peter Meloni, an American actor, is most well-known for his role in the tv show Law & Order Special Victims Unit. From the time he was at college, Christopher Meloni has been fascinated by the world of acting. He went to study acting at the University of Colorado at Boulder. Though he has been active in both films and television, it is his characters on the smaller screen that brought him fame and a large fans. His ability to play characters from both sides of the law is what has caught the attention of viewers. In his very first TV show, he was the role of a serial killer. In later projects, he was the role of an NYPD Investigator. For his work in the small screen, he's won numerous times for the prestigious Emmy Awards. He is famous for his blue-piercing eyes that have been the trademark of his character and has helped him create a charismatic character for tough roles. People's magazine's 2006 list of Sexiest Men Alive included him.
